KS Charities
Knowledge Services has selected a range of impactful charities for our company to support. Here are some of the organizations we proudly support:
- 4 Paws for Ability enriches the lives of people with disabilities through specially trained service dogs.
- Riley Children’s Foundation ensures children have access to exceptional healthcare through funding research and family-centered care.
- Tunnel to Towers Foundation honors the sacrifice of first responders by building smart homes and providing support for catastrophically injured veterans.
- Toys for Tots spreads joy during Christmas by delivering toys to economically disadvantaged children across the nation.
- Leukemia & Lymphoma Society funds lifesaving research, provides support services, and advocates for quality cancer education care.
Although KS has chosen five charitable organizations, it is important to note that these selections do not limit our contributions. In times of need, such as after the destruction of Hurricane Ian, our team members were encouraged to make donations to support. At KS, we are committed to contributing to a diverse range of charitable organizations.
Tokens of Appreciation
Each month, our team members can contribute a minimum of $10 to a Knowledge Services charity. This initiative empowers our employees to actively participate in the community, supporting causes close to their hearts. For every $10 donated to a charity, a team member receives a token. To collect tokens, team members are required to email a copy of their donation receipt to Knowledge Services’ Human Resources team.
Rewards: Using Tokens on the KS Marketplace
Tokens of Appreciation are not just symbols. Tokens carry tangible benefits for our team members to benefit from. Each token is valued at $2 and team members are encouraged to bring their Tokens of Appreciation to the HR Team to receive a credit code. These credits can then be entered on the KS Marketplace for KS-branded merchandise, including shirts, outerwear, hats, and bags.
Annual Fall Fest: Pumpkin Painting for Tunnels to Towers Foundation
KS celebrates an annual fall gathering each year, where team members can socialize in a casual environment outside of work and meet each other’s families. This year’s Fall Fest was held at Allisonville Home and Garden by Sullivan, a fun venue with a variety of fall festivities for all ages to take part in. One special aspect of this event was pumpkin painting for Tunnel to Towers Foundation. For $5, attendees could paint and decorate pumpkins, and all proceeds went towards the foundation, which honors veterans and first responders.
Day of ThanKS Charity Race
Each year, Knowledge Services invites Team Members to contribute a gift for Toys for Tots, placing it under our Christmas tree in the lobby. People can take advantage of the convenient gift-wrapping station when bringing in their gifts. Team members’ generosity will help create a special Christmas for children, spreading joy and making the season magical.
2023 Reflection
As we conclude 2023, KS reflects on our charitable efforts throughout the year. Our commitment to these efforts, from supporting charities through our Token of Appreciation program to hosting charitable events like our annual Fall Fest and Day of ThanKS, all reflect our belief in the power of service.
